Your data, your choices
Last updated October 4, 2026
What Mise keeps about you, and why, is in the privacy policy. This page is the short version of what you can do about it.
In the app
- Your recipes, notes and collections are all in the app, and you can change or delete any of them there.
- Notifications: turn them on or off in Mise’s Settings, under Recipe notifications.
- Camera and photos: Mise asks before using either. Change your answer in your device’s Settings, under Mise.
- Your account: in Mise’s Settings, choose Delete account and recipes. It deletes your account, your recipes and the photos and conversations that belong to them. You can first hand recipes you shared into a collection over to someone in it.
- Mise Pro: cancel it in your App Store settings. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel it, because the subscription is with Apple.
Reading recipes
To read recipes and answer in the recipe chat, Mise sends the links, photos and messages you give it to third-party services, which the privacy policy names. The app asks you to agree to this before anything is sent. Reading recipes is what Mise is for, so it can’t be used without that agreement. To withdraw it, delete your account.
Advertising and tracking
The app has no advertising and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites. We don’t sell your data.
The website at withmise.app counts visits with Google Analytics. Your browser’s tracking protection blocks it, as does Google’s opt-out add-on. Shared recipe pages and the app don’t use it.
Everything else
Write to privacy@withmise.app to get a copy of your data, to correct it, to have us remove your waitlist address or the recipes we emailed you, or about anything this page doesn’t cover. We answer within a month.
