Help with Mise
Last updated October 4, 2026
Questions, ideas, or a recipe Mise couldn’t read? Write to hello@withmise.app. We read every message and answer as soon as we can, usually within a couple of days.
Adding recipes
From a link
Tap + and choose Add from a link, or share a recipe page to Mise from your browser. Mise reads the page and keeps only the recipe: ingredients, steps, and a picture.
From a book, a card or a screenshot
Tap + and choose Scan a recipe, then take photos or pick ones you have. Include the whole recipe, every ingredient and step, in clear pictures.
When Mise can’t read a recipe
Some pages need a login, or hide the recipe. A screenshot or a photo of the page usually works instead. If it still doesn’t, send us the link and we’ll look into it.
Your recipes on all your devices
Mise works without an account, keeping your recipes with this device. To have them on another phone or iPad too, sign in with your email address in Mise’s Settings, then sign in with the same address on the other device. Your recipes work without a connection once they’re on a device.
Mise Pro
What it adds
The free plan has 15 recipe imports to start, then 3 in any 30 days, and 6 changes from the recipe chat. Everything else, including cooking, timers and the recipes you already have, is free and unlimited. Mise Pro raises imports to 100 in any 30 days, keeps the recipe chat open, and lets you invite others to a collection. Joining a collection is always free.
Restoring it on a new device
In Mise’s Settings, under Mise Pro, tap Get Mise Pro and then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought it with.
Cancelling
In Mise’s Settings, under Mise Pro, tap Manage subscription, or go to your App Store settings. Cancel up to a day before it renews. Deleting your Mise account doesn’t cancel the subscription, because it is with Apple.
Refunds
Apple handles payments and refunds. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
To delete your account and its recipes, or to change what Mise may use, see Your data. The privacy policy has everything Mise keeps and why, and Accessibility says where the app stands for VoiceOver, larger text and more.
